"Our memory is our coherence, our reason, our feeling, even our action. Without it we are nothing." (Luis Buñuel)
I invite you to explore the idea of memory and how it can be expressed and distilled in the writing of MEMOIR. We can discuss questions of form, perspective, truth, humour, honesty, and personal voice. And in the larger sense, what Memoir means~~to friends and family, to following generations, and to the historical weave. Includes in-class writing and strategies for encouraging recollection. Confidentiality within the group is a keynote of this workshop.
