This workshop will explore how writing convincingly about place can enhance a story, memoir or creative non-fiction piece.

We will explore different approaches to writing setting and locations using techniques such as description, mood and tone, foreshadowing, figurative language and symbolic objects. These techniques will enable us to add depth and significance to our writing about place.
