How does the past affect us? 

This workshop will explore ideas around the concept of 'Inheritance': the theme for this year's short story competition. Through a number of writing exercises  you will develop  a creative response and leave with a draft outline of a story you may wish to enter. This may be fiction or creative non-fiction and we will discuss the idea of genre suggesting different avenues to explore such as family history, memoir, ghost story, romance  and crime thriller.
